100th Anniversary – Battle of Beersheba
To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Beersheba Day the Victoria Park RSL Sub-Branch and the Kelmscott-Pinjarra 10th Light Horse Memorial troop have united to create an interactive public event. Beersheba, a heavily fortified town 43kms from the Turkish bastion of Gaza, was the scene of an historic charge by the 4th Light Horse Brigade on 31 October 1917.
