Research of the available records has shown that we have had a variety of titles since the Sub Branch was formed in approximately 1924 (not confirmed—still researching). Some of these have been – Victoria Park, Millen, East Victoria Park, and East Victoria Park & Vietnam Veteran’s Sub Branch.

An application was made to State Branch, with a submission being made for a name change which State Executive considered on the 26th March. The result of this submission is that we are now known as the Victoria Park Sub Branch. This became effective on 26th March.

This name change allows us to keep our identity within the Town of Victoria Park boundary and maintain the history of those residents who enlisted/volunteered for service during all conflicts that we have been involved in.
